Fell Hide is a crafting material obtained by hunting level 46–50 animals in Coldharbour. It is also possible to obtain fell hide scraps in Cyrodiil or Cadwell's Silver zones while your character is still in the correct level range. One animal may yield one to two pieces of the raw material, Fell Hide Scraps. Once ten scraps are collected, they can be refined into seven to ten pieces of the processed material, Fell Hide. Refined fell hide is used for making medium fell armor at any of the clothing stations. For you to be able to create fell armor your Tailoring ability needs to be rank 5.
