Ebony Ore is a rought-textured ore of dark gray color found in the fifth zone of each of the alliances, as well as in Coldharbour and Cyrodiil. Some of the samples can be obtained at the end of the fourth zone as well. When mined, a node yields three to four samples of the raw material, Ebony Ore, which can be refined into seven to ten Ebony Ingots once ten ore samples are collected. Ebony Ingots are used for crafting pieces of heavy ebon armor and weapons at any blacksmithing station. In order for you to create ebony gear, your Metalworking ability has to be rank 5.
