Iron Ore is an ore found in the first zone of each of the alliances, as well as on the introductory islands. The iron ore nodes are of reddish-brown color and are usually located near mountains or large boulders. When mined, a node yields three to four samples of the raw material, Iron Ore, which can then be refined into Iron Ingots. Ten raw samples are usually processed into seven to ten ingots. Iron ingots are used for crafting pieces of heavy iron armor and weapons at any blacksmithing station.
