Greetings and salutations! I am Alpha Kenny Buddy, but most people just call me AKB due to the uncomfortable length of my full username, among other reasons. I am an administrator of the UESPWiki as of my successful RfA, although I already had temporary administrative rights before that to help with the surge in editing brought on by The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Additionally, I am a moderator of the UESP Forums and Administrator of the UESP Blog. Besides my usual administrative duties I also monitor the chat rooms and forums, both under the username "AKB". If you need any help, you can always contact me through my talk page or by email. Alternatively, you can also privately message me on the forums, or try to see if I'm in our chat rooms at the moment. On the off chance that you're actually interested in what me and what I do around the UESP, feel free to read on.
Like most users, I had used the UESP long before I felt like I was good enough to edit on it. What truly stopped me for the longest time was my platform, however. I was originally an Xbox gamer before I was allowed to dwell amongst the magnificent PC Gaming Master Race. And with a copy of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for the PC, I decided to take up editing. My first attempt at what has become a bit of a hobby was at filling in the missing information at Oblivion:Interior Test Cells. From this error filled, but well intentioned start, I slowly spread throughout the rest of the site to various other projects, although I only ever joined two organized projects. After much deliberation on my part, I finally felt that I should join our patroller team, and was accepted amongst their ranks following a successful self-nomination.
Following the announcement of Skyrim, I was made an administrator to help with the rise in activity across the site. People seemed to think I did a good job, so they decided to keep me on as an admin even after the initial job was done. Nowadays I try to help out where I can to ensure the smooth operations of our site.
