Red Lichen is a rare ingredient which can occasionally be found growing on rocks in the Ashlands Region.
Another ingredient found in the Bloodmoon expansion is identical to Red Lichen in both appearance and effects. It is called "Blood of an Innocent" (ID: ingred_blood_innocent_unique), and it is needed for the Rite of the Wolf Giver quest to cure yourself of Lycanthropy.
Red Lichen is one of only two ingredients which can be used to create Light potions, the other ingredient being Black Anther.
