Arnbjorn is a werewolf assassin, former Companion, and a member of the Dark Brotherhood. He wears a special Dark Brotherhood Shrouded Armor, which is cut at the elbow, instead of the usual wrist cut. He also fights with an Iron Battleaxe of Chills. He is also Astrid's husband, though she does not like to admit it - he says this is because she doesn't want the other members to think she plays favorites. When meeting him for the first time, he says the only things you need to know is that he's a werewolf, likes killing people, loves Astrid, hates annoying people, and that the color blue gives him a headache.
He does not like you, although he will be slightly less hostile if you are a werewolf. He says, however, that his dislike is nothing personal - it's just the way he is. He does often say that he trusts you, as Astrid does so, and that's good enough for him. Arnbjorn calls you names like "tidbit", "ham shank", "morsel", and "beef roast", but jokingly tells them not to take offense, saying "I'm a werewolf. Hard not to think of you as a snack."
He does not like Cicero or the Night Mother, and resents their presence, referring to them as "the witless fool and his pet corpse". Astrid firmly tells him that Cicero is to be treated with all the respect the position of Keeper deserves, although she too is displeased by their presence.
He remains uninterested in you until the mission The Cure for Madness in which you discover he has been attacked by Cicero outside the Dawnstar sanctuary. He managed to injure Cicero, but he is badly injured and near death. When you return to the sanctuary, he will show his appreciation for your help. During the quest 'Death Incarnate', upon returning to the sanctuary you will find him fighting off the Emperor's guard in the form of a werewolf, where he will meet his death.
