The Imperial Style is a crafting skill that can be learned by reading the book 
Racial Motifs 10: Imperial Cyrods. All Imperials are able to craft in this style by default. Crafting Imperial items requires 
Nickel. Like all styles, it is purely cosmetic. Items will have the same stats regardless of the style you use.
Owners of the Imperial Edition can transform most equipment into their Imperial Style equivalent by right clicking the item and selecting Convert to Imperial Style from the popup menu. This process does not require any materials, but binds the item to your account, making it no longer tradable. Quest rewards, dropped set items and special drops from named monsters and dungeon bosses cannot be transformed in this way. Unlike crafting, your character does not have to be an Imperial to transform gear.
