Detailed Walkthrough

Bruised Beauty

The first time you meet Julia Basilla, you will find her in tears and not in the mood for a conversation. If you ask around town about her, you will find out that she has come up freshly bruised a series of times this month and that this might have something to do with the door that she keeps locked at the lighthouse.

Iallus' Illness

Pick the lock of the trapdoor in the lighthouse and you will find yourself in the Basillas' bedroom. Inside you will find Iallus, and it is fairly obvious that he has some problems. Seek Julia, who is usually at the very top of the lighthouse, and ask her for an explanation. She will confess that her father is very ill: he has problems remembering things and he can grow violent when he doesn't recognize her. She asks you to help her find a cure for him, under the form of a pie.

Baking a Cure

Julia asks you for five portions of flour, five apples and four strawberries for the pie itself and two clouded funnel caps, two portions of columbine root pulp and two ironwood nuts for the cure. Since you won't be able to find all of the ingredients on Stirk, this quest will most likely turn into an ingredient scourging similar to the Painters In Love quest.

Ingredient Seeking

The ingredients for the pie are all very generic and can be stolen from a number of houses on the island. If you don't feel like stealing, a trip to The Flowing Bowl or Lelles' Quality Merchandise in Anvil will net you the ingredients. A portion of ironwood nuts can be found in Eulius Manor, on the dining table. Alternatively, you may find these and clouded funnel caps from the two Anvil merchants as well as Felen Relas at the Mages Guild Hall. Columbine root pulp can be easily harvested throughout the West Weald, the closest zone being just south of Kvatch.

Cured and Up and About

Once you give Julia the ingredients she will be delighted and tell you to wait a day while she bakes the pie. Wake up the next morning to find a fresh Iallus and a very happy Julia. She will thank you and reward you with 150 gold.

Notes

  • You can also start this quest by finding Iallus yourself before talking to Julia.
  • Instead of helping Julia, you can talk to a guard and have Iallus Basilla arrested either for Domestic Abuse or Mental Illness. In the case of the former, however, the quest won't complete and will remain in your journal. In the latter case, the guard you tell will reward you with 50 gold.

Notes
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
  • If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
  • Ficheiro:Pc22.png It is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage Tr07q005 stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
