UESPWiki:Image Requests

On this page, editors may make specific image requests for use on article pages. Image requests should always pertain to content-related articles which are ready for the images; this is not a place to request images for personal use.

Avoid making general requests, such as "more pictures of the Battle for Solitude". A better request would be more specific, such as "the Stormcloaks at the outer gate before the Battle for Solitude". Try to keep requests brief, but if the subject matter isn't perfectly obvious, please explain your request by providing details, such as the context of the article where the image will be placed.

This page is meant for specific image requests for use on articles which already include a basic image. Note that the {{NeedsImage}} template should be used on pages which are missing basic images, and is automatically added to pages missing the image parameter in Summary templates for creature, NPC, and place pages.

Using this Page

Posting a Request

Please post your requests under the Images Requested section in a bulletlist format, and sign your post. Please add the most recent requests to the bottom of the list. Provide a link to the article page, specifying the game in your request. If requesting multiple images for use on the same article, group the related images into a list below said link to the article page, then sign below the full list.

NOTE: If you post a request, please realize that it takes time to take good images; therefore, please consider your requests carefully so image providers don't waste time taking images you don't need.

Fulfilling a Request

If you fulfill a request, please strike out the request by using <s> at the beginning and </s> at the end, then add a link to the uploaded image directly below the request with your signature included. Do not add the image to the related page; the editor who requested the image should do this themselves. You do not need to provide a thumbnail image. Make sure that the images you upload follow the site's image guidelines.

NOTE: If you fulfill a request, please realize that the author of the article has spent hours, maybe days, writing the article and is hoping for top-notch images to match his/her work. The author can at all times request a new version of the image should the provided image not meet his/her requirements.

Removing a Request

Only the editor who requested an image should remove the completed request. That editor should first add the new image to the corresponding article before removing the request from this page.

Article: The Towers

I'm working on a lore article for the Towers, and it could some more images from ESO:

  • A better image of the Direnni Tower

      • Indeed, but I find the Daggerfall image preferable to that at the moment. Way too obscured there. I'm hoping that players have found or will find a better way to grab an image of it. Minor EditsThreats•Evidence 13:26, 6 April 2014 (GMT)
        • I think it will be difficult to get a non-misty image, as apparently it's not possible to swim out too far towards the isle. Here is an imgur gallery of two shots, not great, I know. --Jimeee (talk) 13:43, 11 April 2014 (GMT)
          • I think those demonstrate that we can at least get an image with better resolution. The mist is tolerable (even thematically appropriate), but the current ESO image Lego linked to from the beta is sub-par in terms of quality.   • An image of the Crystal Tower (if possible).
