High Kinlord Rilis XII is the father of the current Rilis XIII. He was bound in the Banished Cells for trafficking with Daedra in life. Along with his ancestors, his spirit appears to denounce his son Sorondil as a bastard when he attempts to retrieve the Rilis Helm during the related quest.
