The Armor of the Old Gods is a special version of Forsworn Armor given to you by Kaie for helping the leader of the Forsworn, Madanach, escape Cidhna Mine. Alongside the chest piece, this armor set also includes a pair of boots, gauntlets, and a helmet. This item shares its appearance with basic forsworn equipment, weighs half as much, offers two fewer points of armor, and is worth a considerable more amount of gold. The Armor of the Old Gods has also been enchanted to fortify destruction spells by fifteen points. Tempering this item requires a piece of leather and the Arcane Blacksmith perk.

Notes
- It is possible to obtain this armor set, as well as the reward from Thonar Silver-Blood. By running through the mine with Madanach until the point at which you get this equipment, then stalling him until the other Forsworn have escaped the area will give you the opportunity to kill him, thus earning you the animosity of the surviving Forsworn prisoners, which they will express by attacking you once you leave. After defeating them, you can talk to Thonar, who will give you his family ring as a sign of his thanks.
Bugs
- When wearing the full set of the Old Gods, the boots and gauntlets may disappear occasionally. May be a result of tempering the armor.
- PC Only This bug is fixed by version 1.2.5 of the Unofficial Skyrim Patch.
