Winter Gate is an Imperial milegate in northeastern Cyrodiil, northwest of Kingscrest Keep, on the border between Pact and Covenant territories. The gate is one of only three passages through the hill range, and acts as a bottleneck between the territories. This may result in occasional skirmishes between factions, and is a prime location for setting up ambushes against players traveling between Kingscrest Keep and Fort Dragonclaw. Access to the top of this gate is available from the east side, while entering through the broken portcullis is the only access from the west side.
