My Dearest Son,
I hope you have enjoyed your last few weeks in Kemel-Ze. I wasn't sure what to think when you confessed you wanted to travel there, but I've been overjoyed to recieve [sic] your letters. It seems you have risen to the occasion, and I'm so proud to hear that you are enjoying what you're doing.
I am doing well. Your father...has decided for the good of Helnim that I should now move out of our old quarters. I'm now in your old room. Your little guar toy is still under the bed, and I sometimes hold it to fondly remind myself of you.
I do hope you are coming home soon, my darling. Your father is under immense pressure from the citizens and I feel as though the Imperial rule in Helnim is gradually wearing. Please write back soon. I am missing you very much.
