}} __NOTOC__

Marked for Death is a shout that drains the health and damages the armor of an enemy, making that enemy more vulnerable to physical damage. All three versions have a duration of 60 seconds. Effects of the shout can be reduced by magic resistance, though the shout will always drain at least 1 point of health per second.

Notes
* Once a target has its armor rating reduced to zero, the effects will continue into negative values, resulting in potentially huge increase in damage dealt by melee weapons, well above the base and/or total damage of a weapon.
* The damage armor effect stacks with itself, making it possible to kill enemies with several thousand points of health with a single blow from even the most basic weapons.
**This is because the shout does not have the "Recover" flag set, so the damage armor effect is not treated as a temporary debuff that is applied once and fades away at the end, but as permanent damage to the target's armor that ticks once per second.
**pc22Version 1.1 of the Unofficial Skyrim Patch prevents the shout from stacking with itself when used multiple times in succession and sets the "Recover" flag, ensuring the effect is not permanent. This does mean that the effect is only applied once per cast instead of once per second, so the top level of Marked for Death reduces damage resistance by 9%, which is only noticeable against the most armored of opponents.
* Like other shouts, Companion's Insight will protect followers from the effects of Marked for Death.

Bugs
