Although identified as an empire, it differs from the {{Lore Link|Alessian Empire}}, {{Lore Link|Second Empire}}, and {{Lore Link|Third Empire}} in that the only permanent dependency of the Empire was {{Lore Link|Cyrodiil}} itself, and was at no time ruled by a {{Lore Link|Dragonborn}} emperor.
