This editor has been blocked for one week following multiple warnings to stop deleting content from user talk pages, in particular content added by other editors. Immediately following his last warning [1] he deleted content from from UESPWiki_talk:Contact [2], including both his question and my response. I believe the warning made it quite clear that he was not to delete any more content from talk pages, especially when the deletion included anything written by other editors. He had also previously been warned by Lurlock that deleting content written by others was not acceptable [3], and had been told multiple times by other editors to stop deleting posts (for example on Morrowind Talk:Arkngthand). I'm not sure how many other ways there are to tell him that his deletions are not acceptable. His persistence in deleting content has disrupted many other editors who have spent time cleaning up after him and trying to tell him what is appropriate.
I hope that following the expiration of this block, ShakenMike will pay more attention to requests made by other editors, and show more respect for the Policies and Guidelines used on this site. --Nephele 19:40, 25 February 2007 (EST)
This warning has been moved here after being deleted several times by the user from the talk page. For those who may be wondering, blocked accounts are by default still allowed to edit their own talk page. --Nephele 21:34, 25 February 2007 (EST)
Ficheiro:Stop hand.png | Please do not delete warning and blocking information related to your account. Doing so will get you blocked from editing the UESPwiki, as that information is needed to ensure that administrators know past disciplinary actions if they ever need to engage in future disciplinary action. This warning is for your actions on your own user page User:ShakenMike on March 20, 2007 at 20:23 EST. --Ratwar 22:26, 20 March 2007 (EDT) |
