Skyrim:Miscellaneous Quests

Miscellaneous quests are minor quests that you can be given. Completing objectives for miscellaneous quests increases the Miscellaneous Objectives statistic, and counts towards the Hero of the People achievement.

These quests appear in your journal, but they are all listed together in the "Miscellaneous" section. The actual name of the quest is not visible in game (the names used on this site are the names assigned to the quest in the Creation Kit). Only the current objective associated with the quest can be seen -- completed objectives are not displayed, nor is any additional information about the quest stage. Miscellaneous Quests are different from Side Quests -- the latter are full quests, with full entries in your quest log.

Many miscellaneous quests use the Radiant quest system to add a dynamic element to the quest. Therefore, details of the objectives (who gives it to you, where to go, etc.) are likely to vary from one player to another.
