Detailed Walkthrough
Woodworker Writs are available to anyone who completes the Woodworker Certification quest. Every day, you may pick up the Woodworker Writ quest from the Equipment Crafting Writs boards. These boards are located in the major cities of the five Alliance zones, as well as The Hollow City in Coldharbour, Belkarth in Craglorn and Orsinium in Wrothgar. If you have not yet unlocked Coldharbour or Craglorn, you will be required to produce a lower-level item than your current rank would otherwise require.
The items needed will always be weapons or shields, in any of three different combinations:
- 2 restoration staves and 4 shields
- 3 inferno staves, 3 ice staves and 3 lightning staves
- 6 bows and 2 shields
The material you are required to use, as well as the level of the reward you receive, is dependent on your rank in the Woodworking skill. The items needed and the delivery location are summarised below:

Notes
- Woodworker's Cases from VII to X may drop rare Glass motif chapter fragments, which can be assembled into Glass motif chapters.
- Due to the rarity of Sanded Ruby Ash, writs requiring them will instead ask for
- 2 Nightwood bows, 1 Ruby Ash shield
- 2 Nightwood restoration staffs, 1 Ruby Ash shield
- 1 Ruby Ash inferno staff, 1 Nightwood ice staff, 1 Nightwood lightning staff
