Detailed Walkthrough
Clothier Writs are available to anyone who completes the Clothier Certification quest. Every day, you may pick up the Clothing Writ quest from the Equipment Crafting Writs boards. These boards are located in the major cities of the five Alliance zones, as well as The Hollow City in Coldharbour, Belkarth in Craglorn and Orsinium in Wrothgar. If you have not yet unlocked Coldharbour or Craglorn, you will be required to produce a lower-level item than your current rank would otherwise require.
The items needed will always be either light or medium armour, in any of four different combinations:
- 2 robes, 2 breeches and 1 epaulets
- 2 shoes, 2 hats and 2 sashes
- 2 shoes, 2 hats and 1 sash
- 2 helmets, 2 arm cops and 2 bracers
The material you are required to use, as well as the level of the reward you receive, is dependent on your rank in the Tailoring skill. The items needed and the delivery location are summarised below:

Notes
- Clothier's Satchels from VII to X may drop rare Glass motif chapter fragments, which can be assembled into Glass motif chapters.
- Due to the rarity of Ancestor Silk and Rubedo Leather, writs requiring them will ask for
- 1 Ancestor Silk robe, 1 Shadowspun breeches, 1 Shadowspun epaulets
- 1 Ancestor Silk hat, 1 Shadowpsun shoes, 1 Shadowspun sash
- 1 Rubedo Leather helmet, 1 Shadowhide arm cops, 1 Shadowhide bracers
