Panhandler Thomas mourns poor Guillaume

Someone's murdering Daggerfall's poor. A beggar named Matthew thinks he's going to be the next one to die. He asked me to find the killer before that happens.

1. Speak to Beggar Matthew.
2. Find and investigate trade district alleys.
3. Kill werewolf.
4. Talk to Lieutenant Dubois.

Detailed Walkthrough

To start this quest talk to Beggar Matthew to the right of the Cathedral entrance. He asks you to help him because someone killed his friends and he thinks he'll be next. Agree to help him and he'll tell you to start in the trade district alleys. From where Matthew is at go directly east past the fountain and go behind the houses. Against the eastern wall near some boxes you'll find a dead Bloodthorn Cultist search his body. Now from there go southwest behind the houses across the street. You'll find Shiftless Gaven here talk to him. He says a monster is the one that killed the people. Now go northwest towards the river and talk to Panhandler Thomas. After you talk to him a werewolf will attack kill it. Go to the area in front of the Mages Guild and talk to Lieutenant Dubois for your reward.
