Data de Lançamento TBA

Akavir, the sixth installment in the Elder Scrolls series, takes place in the year 3E 288 on the continent of Akavir during Uriel Septim V's Imperial invasion. It was announced on 31 March 2013 and has been worked on since 31 June 2011, when Skyrim was being finalized.[1]

World

All areas of Akavir (Dragon Land) will be playable, making this one of the largest games yet. These include Ka Po' Tun (Tiger-Dragon Empire), Tsaesci (Snake Palace), Kamal (Snow Hell), Tang Mo (Thousand Monkey Isles), Esroniet, and the sunken island of Kal Harem.[1]

Races

There will be six new playable races; the typical ten races are not available to play and may not appear in-game except for Imperials. Each race has its own unique starting point. Designs for each of the races are still experimental and have not been released. In a touching move, it has been revealed that some of Adam Adamowicz's concepts have been incorporated into the designs.

The Kamal, Tsaesci, Tang Mo, and Ka Po' Tun races all start in the Akaviri Provinces that share their names. The Maormer start on the island of Esroniet, and the Sload underwater on the sunken island of Kal Harem.[1]

Other

Weapons will differ from previous games, with more emphasis on hand-to-hand combat. Some weapons will be present, namely katanas and daikatanas. Due to popular demand, spears will be present in the game.

Joinable factions will differ from previous games, with brand new factions being added, including the Dragonguard (the precursor organization to the Blades), The Syffim, and the Order of the Lamp.[1]

Notes

  • This is the first game to take place outside of the continent of Tamriel.
  • This game marks the first time any of the Akaviri races are seen alive in an Elder Scrolls game.
