The supposed sequel will take place during the [[Lore:Second Era|Second Era]], an area of Elder Scrolls lore not visited since ''[[Redguard:Redguard|Redguard]]''. Three playable factions will be available, represented by a lion, a dragon, and a bird of prey. Bethesda Softworks and Zenimax Media offered no comment on the situation when asked, though a previous comment that [[General:Pete Hines|Pete Hines]] gave to [http://www.computerandvideogames.com/297703/bethesda-elder-scrolls-multiplayer-possible-but-would-make-for-a-lesser-game/ CVG] claims that Bethesda has no interest in tacking on a multiplayer feature to a game. With the source claiming the game is to be announced in May 2012, confirmation of this report will have to wait until May rolls around.
