=== Evergreen Grove ===
There are several ancient [[Skyrim:Nord|Nordic]] features, including large partially submerged upright stones and a stone altar. The body of an [[Skyrim:Alchemist|alchemist]] lies on the altar, along with a copy of the [[Skyrim:Alchemy|alchemy]] [[Skyrim:Skill Books|skill book]] ''[[Skyrim:Mannimarco, King of Worms|Mannimarco, King of Worms]]''.
A couple of [[Skyrim:Spriggan|spriggans]] are found around the murky pond. There are several [[Skyrim:Blue Mountain Flower|blue mountain flowers]], [[Skyrim:Thistle|thistles]] and a single [[Skyrim:Nirnroot|nirnroot]] as well. Insects flock to this site including numerous [[Skyrim:Blue Dartwing|blue]] and [[Skyrim:Orange Dartwing|orange dartwings]] that skitter across the surface of the water. At night [[Skyrim:Luna Moth|luna moths]] and [[Skyrim:Torchbug|torchbugs]] can be found. It can be hard to see them, but small fish such as [[Skyrim:Cyrodilic Spadetail|Cyrodilic spadetail]] and [[Skyrim:Abacean Longfin|Abacean longfins]] inhabit in the shallow waters.
If you follow the stream that feeds the pond upstream towards the [[Skyrim:Half-Moon Mill|Half-Moon Mill]], take care as the are several [[Skyrim:Mudcrab|mudcrabs]] inhabiting the banks. You will find a muddy pool with three more nirnroots growing beside it, this is an unmarked location referred to as the Alchemist's Camp. It is complete with an old extinguished campfire with a metal pot hanging over it containing an [[Skyrim:Ingredients|ingredient]]. Beside the fire is a wooden block with a copy of the alchemy skill book ''[[Skyrim:De Rerum Dirennis|De Rerum Dirennis]]'' on top and a small tent complete with bed roll. To the left of the tent is a crate and two [[Skyrim:Food|food]] sacks, with an [[Skyrim:Apothecary's Satchel|apothecary's satchel]] and the [[Skyrim:Alchemist's Journal (camp)|alchemist's journal]] on top. There is also another nirnroot shortly upstream from the camp. The journal refers to where the alchemist has camped as a "mushroom grove" and you'll find several patches of [[Skyrim:Bleeding Crown|bleeding crown]] around the trees behind his tent.
