''' ''8 Sun's Dawn, 3E 431'' '''

I swear, by the Gods, that filcher Samuel Renoit will pay! Just today, I was walking to Olav's Tap and Tack when I overheard him talking about his latest "ambition". HE WANTS TO ROB MY HOUSE! MY HOUSE!!! Oh, yes, we'll see, my boy. He plans to go through with his plan tonight, and apparently he's been planning it since the year began. And to think that cur even had the guts to talk to me! Oh, when I get my hands on him!

Damn! I fell asleep! He must have been watching, because I fell alseep at about 4:00 in the morning, and woke again at 5:00. He only had an hour window of oppurtunity, and he still pulled it off! i must admit it, he is truly the greatest thief I know, except maybe the Gray Fox. But I think I will let him go, despite my hate for him; I have come to develope respect for him. Though I still hope he gets what's coming to him! And by the Divines, I know he will!

Lenteroth skipped town today. He had three other guys with him. One was a Nord, big and burly, he was. The other was an Imperial; he was definately the silent one. I knew something wasn't right about them, like they were in a huge hurry. For once, actually, Lenteroth wasn't blabing his mouth off. He must be pretty scared of that Nord. Anyway, what do I care, right? After three years I'm finally free of that reckless, moronic thief!

Saw my old friend Olfand Tolgarsson again today. Said he was coming the area for a syndicate of criminals that had escaped his grasp in Falkreath, and he had tracked them here. He said he knew one of them, he was Morgat the Nimble, a Nordic thief and assassin. The other was an Imperial, middle-aged, dark skinned -- almost like a Redguard's complextion, even! -- bandit who had lived near and terrized and killed merchants going to Solitude. And the last was a Bosmer, who had come here three years ago to scout out Cyrodiil. And I immediately knew who it was: Lenteroth the Conjurer. That was the name I gave Olfand. I told him he'd skipped town four days ago. He thanked me, and went on his way. I also told him to send the Wood Elf my regards if he ever caught him. He smiled and nodded, and assured me he would.

Olfand returned today, said he killed all but one: Samuel Renoit, who had proved an unlikely but extremely useful ally.
