Part two of the series is comprised of Volume Three and Volume Four of the ''Saga of Tolgar Ermundsson.'' The previous volumes dealt with Tolgar's ascention as a warrior, and the death of his father after eight years of fighting in Morrowind as part of the Legion. Tolgar then left to take revenge, and succeeded, but King Herold died in 337 after a fatal blow dealt by an Ashlander. The week after, peace was declared after 15 years of various conflicts, from 322, to 337. Tolgar returned home, only to find his mother tortured and mutilated at the hands of bandits. Part two involves Tolgar's revenge against the bandits, and the meeting of his future love, Freyja the Slasher, a female warrior in the service of the Imperial Legion, in the Imperial City, who also has a good reason to take out the bandit king Magnus the Raider. The two continue to purge the Provinces of Tamriel together, until their son, Olfand Tolgarsson, is born in 3E 389.

== Volume Three ==

Bandit King Magnus the Raider had harboured much hate and disdain from countless people in Skyrim; in fact, so infuriating were his actions there, particularly at Fort Refuge, that a relative of a victim living in the fort caused an female Nordic member of the Imperial Legion -- in the Imperial City -- by the name of Freyja to desert the legion and Skyrim in search of revenge against the Bandit King. And it was here, in Skyrim, that Tolgar met Freyja. The two of them formed an uneasey alliance, distrustful of each other.

They tracked the King to Fort Negarro, the fort that had been set up years ago following the defeat of the first coalition of Bandits and Marauders in southern Skyrim.
