This is a fanfiction letter -- a stack of letters, which is really just one letter and was committed to a book due to its length-- which is written in the 4E 373. It is written by Caedus Numerius, who has been the Master of the Fighters Guild since the 3E 436.

This is in the making.

Greetings, dear reader. I, Caedus Numerius, current Master of the Fighters Guild, write this letter because I wish to have my life in the Guild on
written record.

Eleventh of Morning Star, 3E 433

My first contract which took place at a mine -- the name of which escapes me -- in which I was ordered by Burz gro-Kash to deliver a weapons shipment. He failed to mention the fact that a fight would take place, although I guess I should have expected it since I was in the Fighters Guild. My companion's names where Rienna, a female Redguard, Brag gro-Bharg, a male Orc, and Elidor, a male Altmer. Elidor, unfortunately, didn't survive, rest his soul. We fought against Goblins -- who had infested the mine and kept the miners from working. Rienna, Brag gro-Bharg, and me returned to Cheydinhal virtually without a scratch.

Until I write otherwise, from here on I have used

Thirteenth of Morning Star, 3E 433

I got my second contract -- this time from Azzan in Anvil -- today. I was ordered to take care of a rat problem. Sounds easy and simple, right? Wrong. It turns out it was the rats I had to help. Arvena Thelas is very fond od her little rats. Ha! I hate the little buggers. But a contracts a contract. So I walked down to the basement and huess ehat I found? A Mountain Lion! I killed the damn beast and then reported back to Arvena. Then she tells me to go find some hunter named Pinarus Inventius. I found the man, and we went hunting for the Mountain Lions.

Then I went back to Arvena when those Lions were dead and she says there's another in her basement. So I went down, killed the bugger, went back up and then she thinks somethings "drawing" them there. Ugh. So NOW she tells me to go spy on Quill Weave, who she believes is doing something to attract them to the house and, well.... she was right! I found Quil Weave putting down some raw Venison in front of a little opening which led to Arvena's basement. I confronted her, and she confessed. But she said that she'd train me if I kept quiet. I said "Sorry, a contract's a contract. I've gotta report you." She got real pissed at that and walked off. I reported back to Arvena, who trained me in Acrobatics as a reward as well as some gold. I reprted back to Azzan and he congratulated me on a job well-done.
