== The Theme ==
This is the story of the son of Areldir, one of the most insane men in history. This is a spin-off of the Rise of the Mer fanfiction series, also by me. In this story, Revelas Vethelo, the son of Areldir, strives to overcome the Madness he inherited from his father and change the public's view on him. In one way, he succeeds.....

== The Birth of A Madman ==
As Darana Vethelo struggled not to lose conciousness from the pain of labor, her family and friends tried to comfort her and calm her down. Areldir, who was utterly insane, would not ever see his son, let alone see him being born. For he was locked in prison long ago. Frequently he shouted from his cell in, what would be to us, a Scottish accent, "A child born of Madness there shall be, mortals! Very soon! And may that child show you all just how lucky he is to have the my blessing! He will show you all, one day!!!! Just you wait and see!!!". No one believed him.
But when the child emerged from his mother's womb, they knew something was wrong. The child had cat-like eyes. He had golden-black skin. He was like.... A Daedra. Still for the time being they ignored this.
"What do you think we should name him?" Darana asked her brother.
"I think Revelas would be a good name." said Darana's brother.
"Yeah, okay. What do you think of that, little one?" said Darana. "My little Revelas."
The baby giggled. "Well will ya look at that," said Darana's brother, "I think he likes it!"
Little did they know, he would grow up to be so insane, he would rival Lord Sheogorath in Madness....
The next day the mother became extremely ill with an equivelant to what we know as Ecolai. She died that night and Darana's brother had a dream in which he saw Sheogorath and the Prince spoke to him.
"Ah, well. It's a shame. These things happen. Especially when people are PLOTTING AGAINST ME!!!!! Or perhaps it's when they're not. Or maybe both? Or maybe neither. Ah, well. These things happen regardless of the reason. Perhaps she was. Perhaps she wasn't. Perhaps she did did. Perhaps she will. Or would've, that is. Now that the first step of plan is finished the second step must be enacted. Bye, bye little pawn. I think I'll just knock you out of the way now. Tata!"
No one knows exactly what happened to Darano Vethelas (Darana's brother), but he died that nigh and all they found were his insides.......
