The Wreck of the Strident Squall is a shipwreck on the southern coast of Solstheim. It can be found south of Hrodulf's House, stranded on a little island near the coast.

Exterior
Five reavers have made their home here. The burned bodies (non-containers) of the previous occupants can be found outside the barricade erected around the entrance to the beached wreck. There are two spiky grass plants to the left of the entrance through the barricade. Inside the barricade is a heart stone deposit. There is also a campfire with a cooking pot over it and several crates being used as seats. There is a wooden ramp leading up to the deck of the wrecked ship. On the deck are various crates all over the deck.
Wreck of the Strident Squall
Through the doorway to the cabin area, on your right is an adept-locked chest. At the front of the cabin area is a room with two bed rolls and a table with a lit goat horn. On the table are two coin purses and two red apples. Against the east wall is a set of shelves holding a random mace, a common book, a red apple and a bowl of apple cabbage stew, while hanging from the ceiling is a rack holding a rabbit and pheasant.
Descending the stairs there is a set of shelves in front of you containing a random helmet, two iron daggers, five random books, a medium coin purse and also an East Empire Company strongbox. To the left are a couple of barrels and to the right is a doorway to a room with two hanging cages, one of which contains a skeleton. There are two more skeletons on the floor all of which can be looted.
Back out of the room there are six barrels to the left of the stairs in a slightly flooded area, two of which contain ingredients, with another flight of stairs descending to the next deck down which is completely flooded. In the northern corner of this deck are two more bed rolls, to the left of the bed rolls is a crack in the wall where you can see through into another area with a dead body, that can only be reached from the deck below. Along the eastern wall is an unlocked chest among some rock and barrels. It contains the object of a quest for Cindiri Arano. On top of one of the barrels is a bowl of apple cabbage stew.
Descending to the next deck down that is flooded, an enchanted item of waterbreathing is recommended and also a light spell. at the bottom of the stairs is a skeleton and to your right a large hole is the hull of the ship, further to the right is a dead alchemist floating in the water, who is carrying a couple of ingredients, an iron dagger and is wearing a set of black mage robes. Going straight ahead to the northwest you will find a second skeleton and a dead Argonian female, though she carries nothing much of interest. There is also a flight of stairs leading back up out of the flooded section, to a new area seen through the crack previously with a dead Redguard. Beside him is a scimitar, a wooden bowl containing a giant's toe, an apothecary's satchel and a knapsack.
