Radiant Options

This is a radiant quest which is received from Igmund, if he is the current Jarl of Markarth. The forsworn outpost is chosen from the following list:

Quick Walkthrough

1. Talk to Jarl Igmund to initiate quest.
2. Travel to the dungeon.
3. Kill the Forsworn Leader.
4. Return to Jarl Igmund in Understone Keep to collect the gold reward.

Detailed Walkthrough

Travel to Understone Keep in Markarth and speak to Jarl Igmund to initiate the quest in which you have to kill a Forsworn Leader. He will direct you to a dungeon in The Reach, which is where the Forsworn Leader is hiding. You must travel there and face the leader.

Once you travel to the dungeon you will most likely have to deal with most leveled Forsworn before you can eliminate the leader.

Reward

Once you have dealt with him/her, return to Understone Keep to collect your reward from Jarl Igmund.

Notes

• If Raerek is in a room with an adept lock, wait until he is sitting by the Jarl to receive your reward. He is there by 10am.

Bugs

• It is possible to accept this quest and then find that all NPCs are non-aggressive towards you at the site. If this is the case feel free to kill or pickpocket any non-named NPCs (normally simply named "Forsworn") because none of the other NPCs will attack you.

Notes

• Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the Radiant Quest system, and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
• Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
• Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
• If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
• On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage Favor151 stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages, but it is possible to clear all stages of the quest using resetquest Favor151.
