Tovisa is a Dunmer member of the Companions.[verification needed] She will approach you on the outskirts of Northwind Mine to ask for help in investigating the Reachmen activity there.
After giving you a disguise, Tovisa will allow herself to be taken prisoner while you search for clues. Upon your return, it's revealed that she was taken into the mine, where the Hagravens sucked out her eyeballs. Blinded, she will return to Shor's Stone after you've dealt with the Hagravens.
