Balvvarden Isle is the largest of the Telvanni Isles except for the vast Gahvan Isle. Although located just off the coast of the Molagreahd region, the island is still considered part of the Telvanni Isles region.
The island is elongated in form, stretching from a narrow point in the southeast, widening out in the center, before narrowing slightly in the northwest. In the center of the island is the small fishing village of Bahrammu. A dirt road runs northwest from the southeastern point, veers north into the village and finally east to a large sandy beach on the east coast. About half way along its length a small path branches off, leading to the island's transport - a single rowing boat.
