The Headwaters of Harstrad are the source of the Harstrad River.
It can be found a short distance downhill to the southeast from the entrance to Benkongerike, or by following the river upstream from the Wind Stone to the west-southwest.

Exterior
The cave entrance is found behind the waterfall cascading down a rock face just below the entrance to Benkongerike. On the bank as you approach the waterfall is a leveled Spriggan that will attack as soon as it detects you. There is a pearl oyster next to a nirnroot downstream on the south shore and a pearl oyster on the north shore, just before you reach the first large rock that is partially in the water.
Harstrad Cave
Upon entering the cave by traveling upstream into a shallowly flooded cave that is naturally lit with a rock pillar directly in front of you. There is a waterfall descending the wall to the southeast and a leveled Spriggan to the right of you, stood on a raised area that will attack as soon as you are detected. At the top of the dry bank on the right is a dead skeleton that can be looted. It is in front of an unlocked boss level chest. If you are here as part of the relevant quest you activate the headwaters by looking at the shallow pool and pressing action. This will complete the requirements. There is nothing else of interest in the cave.
